K

(K means contract) If you are ever promised something and you want it to be legally enforceable then make sure you make a return promise. That's all you have to do. So lets say I promise to give you free legal advice for life you can make that binding by promising something in return...But if you don't promise me anything in return and are not one of my family members so you can't claim promissory estoppel, then too bad you get to pay for any legal advice you get from me.

Moral of the story: Now that I know how to make a contract legally enforceable it will be tough to get anything for free from me. I am all about the return promise.

Even though I am not getting feedback by writing this blog instead of talking to someone it is helpful when I can apply the things I learn and then explain them to people who might not have any idea what I am talking about. PLUS its good to know that if you want to enforce a contract all you have to do is make a return promise.

I better quit procrastinating by writing about contracts and actually go read my contracts case file....
