With elections tomorrow I feel like I should throw in my 2 cents. Vote Libertarian!!! Well at the very least vote. And if you don't vote then you have waived your right to complain about who is in charge. I voted last week and while I am pretty sure Barr wont win, I do hope that the libertarian voice is at least heard a little and that he gets 5% or more of the total popular vote...For anyone who reads this before they vote on Tuesday, think about voting libertarian. It is the only way that there will be a real change in how the government is run. Anyone who is interested in libertarianism should either talk to a libertarian (me) or go check it out on lp.org
Its more than a political party..It is pretty much a lifestyle.
My interesting story from last week---
I was driving home on thursday (Oct. 30) and when I got to my street it was full of kids in costumes...It was dark and I almost ran a kid over because I didn't see him/her until the last second (the kid was dressed in all black and had no flashlight or any reflective tape on or anything and was in the middle of the street) Luckily I didn't hit him/her but I was really confused as to why there were trick or treaters..(remember its only the 30th) I figured that there must be some weird town ordinance in Penacook that bans trick or treating on Halloween. I forgot about it until today. I was talking to a friend about halloween and asking if he had gotten any trick or treaters...he said yes and talked about it all and then it hit me. There were no kids out on Halloween in my neighborhood only on the night before. I asked him if he had ever heard of something like that and low and behold his wife works at the Penacook School and had told him that in Penacook the kids go trick or treating on Halloween Eve and then go into Concord on Halloween. He told me that his wife tried to explain that halloween was already the eve of something (All souls day?) and so they really were trick or treating on the eve of the eve. Apparently they didnt care...I guess kids in Penacook are extra candy hungry...
Well its almost 10 pm my time and I am still in the library trying to get my homework done...I just finished a 5 page memo draft that is due tomorrow but I have to go home and revise it for another hour before its a good enough draft to hand in. Our professor flat out said she doesnt expect that they are any good because we had to do them so quickly but she also said that she wont give any comments back if the memo is garbage. And seeing as this counts as my final in that class I need as much feedback as possible before I turn in the final product so I dont have to repeat the course next year.
I signed up for my classes next semester and I start every day at 10:30...lucky me! No more 8 am classes for me!

I guess the kids really like candy! They are pretty lucky to go trick-or-treating twice, but it would have been nice if you got some notice :)
Glad to hear all your classes start later next year!!
