Be the change you want to see in the world.

www.changetheworldchallenge.blogspot.com

I am challenging everyone here to take part in my Change the World challenge. I want to see the world as a nicer place where people take the time to appreciate one another. I am starting this by writing hand written letters to my friends and thanking them for who they are and being a good friend to me. I am writing to let them know that I value their friendship and appreciate them. I think that this task will make a difference to the people I write to and that difference, however small, is helping me realize my goal.

I challenge you to write to your friends or family members who you appreciate. You might think that everyone knows that you appreciate them or love them but more often than not people don't know. Handwritten letters show that you care because you took the time out of your busy life to write a meaningful letter. This shouldn't be a thank you letter for some specific act the person did but collective acts that they have always done. I believe that people are good at heart and I want to show the world that if we were just a little nicer to others it can make a world of difference.

You never know how much a short note will mean to someone and the 5-10 minutes you take writing this letter will be worth so much more to the recipient.

If you want to take part of my challenge, all I am asking is that you write at least one letter a month to a different person who means the world to you but you don't always tell them that. I will update my Change the World Challenge blog with new ideas weekly but don't feel pressured to do it every week!

This is something that is so easy to do its a wonder why more people don't do it.

So, pick up a pen or pencil and a sheet of paper and get writing.

Go to www.changetheworldchallenge.blogspot.com for the weekly challenge ideas!

Tell others about my challenge if you want and get more people to take part!

We can change the world one letter at a time!
